The Wedding Isle

Please join me in welcoming Gabby of bigcityevents to {TWI}.  Originally from New York, Gabby has a multitude of experience in the entertainment industry.  She first got into the business working as a bridal attendant at a catering company on Long Island, NY for 3 years.  She then moved on to become a wedding coordinator at a full service event planning company for 2 1/2 years, servicing the Hampton’s to NYC and everywhere in between.  While she was there, the company was featured on the Style Network’s “Who’s Wedding is it Anyways?” twice, was chosen as LI Wedding’s “Vendor of the Year”, and chosen as “The Best of Weddings” on theknot.com.  They were even featured in People Magazine for planning the wedding of Survivor’s fan favorite, Stephenie LaGrossa.

Gabby holds a BS degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.  She is well versed in the world of design and even helped run 6 fashion shows for NYC Fashion Week as well as directing NIMA NY’s Spring Collection. Somewhere down the line, event planning segued into production when Gabby was given the opportunity to work at Saturday Night Live and ABC’s One Life to Live.  She currently still works in TV production, but is also exciting to be returning to her events career in Charleston with Charleston’s wedding scene.  Gabby, we are thrilled to have you on the {TWI} Charleston wedding team.
